Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility -CSR- is ideally a genuine attempt on the part of big business to improve social, environmental and human rights conditions of communities they are operating in or relate to. In its truest form corporate social responsibility is a form of customer service. We will be recognising Corporate Social Responsibility (all kinds of community support project/ programmes that have enhanced the quality of life of people in benefiting communities) within all Local Governments in the country

Customers and citizens feedback again is paramount in judging the impact or relevance of any activities referred to as CSR, we will guage public reactions to CSR and provide assistance to companies and other organisations in decision making with regards the impact, relevance and timeliness of projects/programmes that positively affect the quality of life of the stakeholders in such communities

Profile of Organsations' CSR activities will be analysed and feedback on perceived impact will be shared, with all stakeholder - "the taste of the pudding is in its eating" so the customer/citizens are better placed to advise, suggest and assess CSR activities.
